Traveling with Children
Infants and children are not permitted to ride on the lap of another passenger. A separate seat must be reserved for each traveler, including infants.
We do not provide child safety seats or boosters. California State Law requires that children of certain ages, heights, and weights be secured in a proper safety seat. Parents and guardians must bring their own appropriate seat, as it is not possible for us to stock every size for all ages of children. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure your reservation includes the correct number of travelers so every person has a seat.
Baby Gear Rentals Made Easy
To make family travel easier, Karmel partners with Traveling Baby Company, a trusted baby gear rental service. Families can pre-order equipment such as:

How It Works
1. Reserve directly with Traveling Baby Company.

2. Upon arrival, immediately contact your Baby Co Representative, by cell phone. Once you have made contact with the Baby Co Rep, proceed outside to the middle island curb, under the white sign, passenger pick-up. There are pillar #ers. Provide the pillar number to the Baby Co rep to help find you easily.
3. Arrival at Airport – Your bay Co Representative will drop off the rented equipment to you curbside. Once complete, please let your Karmel driver know you are ready for pick-up. Your Karmel driver will text you directly upon arrival. Let them know you are waiting for the baby seat or that you are ready.
4. Departure Day
Request your return pickup 15 minutes earlier so you have time to meet the Traveling Baby representative curbside at the airport. Make sure you have the contact information for the Traveling Baby Co representative to find you easily. The Karmel Driver will drop you off at the terminal. Your Traveling Baby Co representative will pull up curbside to meet you and pick-up the rented equipment/Car Seats.
