Traveling with Children
For the safety of all passengers and in compliance with California State Law, children of certain ages, heights, and weights must be secured in an appropriate child safety seat or booster.
- We do not provide child safety seats or boosters.
- Parents or guardians must supply and install their own appropriate seat.
Please note:
- Drivers are independent operators who are legally responsible for compliance with all safety laws, not employees if Karmel Connect.
- If proper child restraints are not present at pickup, the driver may refuse service.
- In such cases, the trip will be considered a no-show or passenger non-compliance, and full charges may apply.
We strongly recommend that you have a child restraint seat prior to your scheduled pickup to avoid service disruption.
Please ensure your reservation includes the correct number of travelers so every person has a seat. Infants and children are not permitted to ride in the lap of another passenger. All passengers must have a reserved seat in vehicle.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

1. Reserve a car seat directly with Traveling Baby Company. Click this link Traveling Baby Company. Select the items you wish to rent in Los Angeles or Anaheim. At check out you can enter your flight information for LAX or SNA.
2. Upon arrival, immediately contact your Baby Co Representative, by cell phone. Please ensure you have proper contact information for Traveling Baby Co prior to arriving and departing. Once you have made contact with the Baby Co Rep, proceed outside to the middle island curb, under the white sign, passenger pick-up. There are pillar #ers. Provide the pillar number to the Baby Co rep to help find you easily.
3. Arrival at Airport – Your bay Co Representative will drop off the rented equipment to you curbside. Once complete, please let your Karmel driver know you are ready for pick-up. Your Karmel driver will text you directly upon arrival. Let them know you are waiting for the baby seat or that you are ready.
4. Departure Day
Request your return pickup 15 minutes earlier so you have time to meet the Traveling Baby representative curbside at the airport. Make sure you have the contact information for the Traveling Baby Co representative to find you easily. The Karmel Driver will drop you off at the terminal. Your Traveling Baby Co representative will pull up curbside to meet you and pick-up the rented equipment/Car Seats.
