Catalina Zipline Tour

Includes roundtrip shuttle transfers from your hotel. (Also available without hotel transfers) Times below are approximate and may vary.

• 8:00am to 8:30am – Shuttle pick-up from your hotel. (actual pick-up time is based on your hotel location)
• 9:50am – Catalina Express transfer to Catalina Island and the city of Avalon (approx 1 hour boat ride)
• 12:00pm – Zipline Eco Tour (actual start time ranges from 12pm & 1pm) times will be confirmed with you after check-out.
• Zipline Duration: 2 hours
• 3:55pm – Catalina Express departs Avalon. (must board 20 minutes early)
• Want to stay later? Later boats may be available. (SEASONAL) Leave us a note at check-out
• 5:00pm – Karmel Shuttle picks you up and transfers you back to your hotel

Height & Weight Requirements:

All zipline participants must be at least 55″ tall and weigh between 80 lbs – 240 lbs.  All participants will be weighed and measured, fully clothed, during the check-in process before each tour. Those unable to meet all of the requirements will not be permitted to zip and will not be offered a refund or rescheduled.

Age Requirements:

Children under the age of 7 are too young to participate. Children between the ages of 7-9 meeting all requirements must be accompanied by a ziplining participant at least 18 years of age who will act as the child’s guardian for the entire length of the activity. Participants at least 10 years of age, weighing at least 80 lbs., and are at least 55″ tall may ride without a guardian. Those unable to meet all of the requirements will not be permitted to zip and will not be offered a refund or rescheduled.

• Hotel pick-up with Karmel Connect. Transfer to Catalina Express terminal. See the sights and sounds of LA on your way to Catalina Express!
• Experience Catalina Express. The fastest, smoothest and most comfortable boat ride you will experience!
• Get a chance to view the amazing coast line of LA as you cruise 22 miles across the ocean. Possible chance of spotting dolphins and whales!
• Say WOW as you approach the island. Like out of a dream or a movie set. A beautiful island appears, displaying it’s amazing coast and mountain peaks!
• Walk through the city of Avalon and explore!
• Adrenalin adventure as you get ready to zip off the first platform. 600 feet above Descanco Beach below, 5 zipline platforms, amazing views, fantastic photo opportunities!

• Adventure, excitement & sightseeing at it’s BEST. A one day adventure that will bring a lifetime of memories.

• Cancellation Policy: If cancelled less than 48 hours prior or “no show” you will forfeit the full price of the Catalina Island zipline tour package.
• Riders must not exceed 240 lbs (weight limit is strictly enforced).
• The Zip line portion of the tour will last approximately 2 hours, not counting the 20 minutes required for checking in before the tour begins. Restrooms are not available while on tour, please use before check-in.

• Footwear Requirements:

  Securable, close-toed shoes are required. Athletic shoes are recommended. (We do offer a limited number of shoes to rent if proper footwear is unavailable otherwise.)

  Other Requirements:

  Long shorts or pants are suggested. Skirts, belly shirts and bathing suites will not be permitted. Please remove dangling earrings. Participants with long hair must secure hair back with a hair tie or similar accessory. We will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged belongings. Please store any and all unneeded items in lockers provided during check-in.

• Health Requirements:

  All participants on tour are required to hike short distances, ascend and descend stairs, need to be of average mobility and strength, and in reasonably good health. We do not recommend participation with preexisting injuries, back, neck, or heart issues. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure whether this activity is suitable for you. If questions still remain, please speak to one of our representatives at (800) 626-1496 before booking your Zipline Tour. If upon arrival it is made clear to the Zipline staff that you are not of adequate mobility, strength, or health, for your safety we do reserve the right to refuse your participation on the tour. Because of the potential health and safety risk to the baby, pregnant guests will not be permitted to participate.

• Weather Cancellations:

  We will not cancel tours due to cold or mildly rainy weather. Zipline management may cancel tours because of unsafe weather conditions such as heavy winds, heavy rains, and/or potential thunderstorms. If tours have been canceled by management because of unsafe weather conditions tickets will be refunded or rescheduled for a later time.

  Release of Liability:

  All participants are required to sign an acknowledgement of risk and release of liability waiver during the check-in process 20 minutes before a scheduled tour. Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian sign for them at this time. Without parental consent and signature, minors will not be permitted on tour and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
